2. Explain with your own words what the following critic wants to say;

Paradoxically, there is more music being written now, thanks mainly to the insatiable appetite of television, where the fear of silence is almost pathological, and yet, for all the quantity, the quality of music has declined in recent years. Fewer features are being made and fewer producers are willing to gamble on music of the post‐Schoenberg idiom because, they maintain, the public isn't ready for that.

3. Do you remember who Schönberg was? 👀 Why do they say ''after Schönberg''?

4.  What about Wagner? Why do people say that he was a pioneer in terms of music and performances?

5. Which film music composer studied with Gustav Mahler?

composers:
  1. Ennio Morricone
  2. Henry Mancini
  3. John Williams
  4. Hans Zimmer
  5. Max Steiner
  6. Alan Silvestri
  7. Bernard Herrmann

7. Add a video for every film and listen to it. Choose nice scenes with epic music

Ex: The instruments, the mood, if it sounds similar to other soundtracks, if it uses computer...
